In anticipation of snow clearing operations beginning any day now, the City of St. John’s has ended a pair of traffic pilot projects in the downtown area.

The projects — the reconfiguration of Church Hill with Veteran’s Square and a one-way loop along Duckworth Street and Plymouth Road at the base of Signal Hill — were put in place to test enhancements to pedestrian safety, traffic flow and parking availability.

The city is still seeking public feedback on these and other pilot projects through an online survey available at engagestjohns.ca.
