Paradise, N.L. — A driver in the Paradise area fled police Friday afternoon after a traffic safety stop in the Paradise area.
The operator was known to police, took off at a high speed. In the interest of safety, the officer did not engage the accused.
An arrest warrant on charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, obstructing a peace officer, driving without Insurance and driving without a licence has been requested.
Police did not release information on whether the driver was male or female.
