CARBONEAR, NL – RCMP officers responding to a request for assistance at a residence in Carbonear just after midnight Friday found a 23-year-old man who had been stabbed.
A 31-year-old woman from Carbonear, who police say is known to the victim, was arrested at the scene and held in custody overnight.
She will appear in Harbour Grace Provincial Court today on charges of assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and break and enter.
The man was taken to Carbonear General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
