About forty volunteers showed up at the Marine Institute parking lot Friday night to help in the search for Courtney Lake or evidence in her homicide.

Lake's aunt Donna Walsh and more of Lake's family helped organize the search in the Pippy Park area. The volunteers were given a map of the area that they were going to examine and a bag of ribbons to mark the areas already searched. Lake disappeared more than a month ago and the RNC announced last Friday that they now consider her case a homicide.
