The Bay de Grave Regional Fire Department called in firefighters from Bay Roberts to support efforts to control a house fire Wednesday morning.

CLARKE'S BEACH, NL — No one was injured in an early morning house fire in Clarke's Beach.

According to fire chief James Edmunds, the Bay de Grave Regional Fire Department received a call at 4 a.m. Wednesday to respond to a fire on Hill Avenue. The Bay Roberts Volunteer Fire Department assisted Bay de Grave firefighters to battle the blaze, which destroyed the home.

Edmunds confirmed there were no injuries resulting from the fire.
