ST. JOHN'S, NL - The Federation of Independent Sea Harvesters of Newfoundland and Labrador (FISH-NL) has called a news conference on Thursday relating to its application for certification before the province’s Labour Relations Board.
A news release from FISH-NL Wednesday said the group will announce “a significant movement” on the application, which was submitted late last December.
FISH-NL will also reveal support from labour organizations across the country, the release stated.
The news conference will take place at 11 a.m. at FISH-NL’s office in St. John’s.
