Free swims as St. John’s holds grand opening for Paul Reynolds Community Centre

The new Paul Reynolds Community Centre at Wedgewood Park is opening to the public at noon Thursday with free swims that day and Friday (June 9).

There will also be morning free swims on June 10 and 11.

The building will be open for self-guided tours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Friday to Sunday.

Free admission schedule – Thursday

12 to 1 p.m.: deep water fitness

3:30 to 5 p.m.: everyone welcome swim

8 to 9 p.m. : everyone welcome swim

Free admission schedule – Friday (June 9)

9 to 10 a.m.: deep water fitness

10:30 to 11:30 a.m.: everyone welcome swim

12 to 2 p.m.: lane swim

2:30 to 3:30 p.m.: everyone welcome swim

8 to 9 p.m.: adult swim        

Free admission – Saturday (June 10)

10 to 11:30 a.m.:  everyone welcome swim

Free admission – Sunday (June 11)

10 to 11:30 a.m.: everyone welcome swim

On Saturday and Sunday the first swim each day will be free of charge.  All other swims will be open to the public at the regular admission price.

Pool capacity is limited and access will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
