The town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay had a special visitor on Friday, Sept. 21.

Governor General Julie Payette was in town, one of a couple of stops in a short tour of the province this week.

While in Happy Valley-Goose Bay the Governor General, who is an astronaut, met local children and members of the Canadian Forces at 5 Wing in Goose Bay.

She also visited North West River.
