According to its newly launched website at http://stjohnsvotes.ca, Happy City St. John’s is a non-profit municipal advocacy group that focuses on informing and encouraging dialogue about civic issues in the city.

The website features information for voters and candidates, including access to handbooks, candidate profiles and an impending blog post component that will highlight key issues for the September municipal elections. Content on the website will be updated as necessary.

Joshua Smee, chairman of Happy City’s board of directors, says the website should be a huge help to everyone.

“September 26, election day, is coming soon,” Smee said, “and there is a lot for citizens to consider when making their decisions. This website should be a big help.”

Happy City urges anyone declaring as a candidate to head to the website and fill out the candidate questionnaire.
