St. John’s, N.L. — A call about a possible impaired driver in St. John’s west resulted in a 55-year-old man being charged around 9:20 a.m. Saturday morning. The RNC responded to the call and charged the man with failing the Breathalyzer and impaired driving.
His vehicle was impounded. He was released for court for a later date.
Saturday night around 10 p.m. police responded to a similar call, also in the west end of St. John’s. A 24 –year-old woman was charged with impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle while registering over 80 mgs. Her driver’s licence was suspended and the vehicle was impounded.
She was released to appear in court at a later date.
