A 61-year-old man was charged with impaired driving and failing the breathalyzer in Paradise on Tuesday evening.
The RNC were notified of a man thought to be operating a vehicle under the influence on the Trans-Canada Highway near Paradise around 6:30 p.m.
He was located, and the man was taken in for the breathalyzer, which he failed. He was charged with impaired driving and failing the breathalyzer in addition to be issued a seven-day driving suspension and had his vehicle seized.
He was released to appear in court at a later date.
