Knife used in armed robbery at Botwood business

BOTWOOD, N.L. – Police were called to an armed robbery at James Restaurant and Grocery in Botwood on Saturday afternoon, July 7.

According to an RCMP release, three male suspects entered the store shortly after 3:30 p.m. One of them was carrying a knife and demanded cash.

The three suspects were described as approximately five-feet, 11-inches tall, with thin builds. They are thought to be roughly in their mid-twenties and were wearing grey and dark hoodies.
