ROSE BLANCHE, NL – Only the weather is keeping the MV Marine Eagle tied up in Rose Blanche today, March 14.

The ferry, which runs between La Poile and Rose Blanche on Newfoundland’s south coast, was temporarily taken out of service on Tuesday evening while an electrical issue affecting its controllable pitch propeller system was resolved.

The vessel is back in service but must wait for weather conditions to improve before sailing.
