With the young voices of the children saying "get your lemonade," children from the Creative Kids Daycare centre in the Goulds held a lemonade stand Wednesday to sell glasses of lemonade in memory of Nevaeh Denine of the Goulds. With parents of the daycare children and the public from the Goulds and passersby alike, patrons were lined up to get glasses of lemonade and support the cause. A dump truck operator even stopped his truck in the middle of the road and hopped out and supported the cause by buying a thirst quencher. Creative Kids Daycare owner/operator Cathy Cox said all the funds raised from the stand will go directly to Nevaeh's Lemonade Stand and at the end of the day, and as the loose change, 5’s, 10’s and 20’s were coming in, about $2,800 was donated for the Neveah’s Lemonade Stand charity. Nevaeh's funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Kevin's Church in the Goulds.
