Man arrested for armed robbery at St. John’s pharmacy

St. John’s, N.L. — A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery at a pharmacy in the east end Thursday afternoon.
The RNC was called to an armed robbery in progress shortly before 2:30.

Police arrested the suspect who is charged with  attempted armed robbery, wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence, and breach of court orders.

He was held for court.

While the RNC was attending the report of the armed robbery in progress at an east end pharmacy they also arrested a 37-year-old man for theft, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, obstruction and breach of court orders.

He was held for court.

Both investigations are continuing.
