Man caught breaking into Mount Pearl seniors' home

Police responded to a break and enter at a seniors' home in Mount Pearl at 1:30 a.m. this morning (Tuesday)

Officers found a 31-year-old man in the basement of the building.

He was arrested and charged with break and enter and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.

He was transported to the lockup and will make a court appearance this morning (Tuesday).
