Man charged with impaired driving after accident

The RNC received a call reporting the accident at about 1:30 a.m.
After a short investigation, the man was charged and released on documents to appear in provincial court at a later date. 

About an hour later in a separate case, RNC officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the Empire Avenue area of the city. 

A 30-year-old man was arrested on the scene after a female victim with minor physical injuries was located in the area.

The RNC’s criminal investigation division is looking into the matter.
