St. John’s, N.L. — Shortly before 7 p.m Thursday the RNC was called to an assault complaint in the centre of the city.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
The accused, a 25-year-old man, was located a short time later.
He was charged with assault and a breach of court order and was held for court in the morning. He will also answer to the charge of theft and another breach of court order regarding an unrelated investigation by the RNC.
