Man in court today after assault on Jensen Camp Road

St. John’s, N.L. — Shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday police were called to the a residence in the Jensen Camp Road area of St. John’s after a report of a domestic disturbance. Police arrested a 43-year-old man in connection with the incident. He was charged with assault, assaulting a police officer and mischief.
Police also found there was a parole warrant in effect for the man.
He was held in custody to appear before a judge in the morning.
