MARYSVALE, N.L. – A 34-year-old Marysvale man was arrested after a police search of a residence in the community on Saturday, July 21.
According to a release today, July 23, the RCMP’s Harbour Grace general investigation section, Bay Roberts detachment, Harbour Grace detachment, police dog services and the emergency response team executed two search warrants at the home.
The man will be charged with three counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine and failure to comply with a probation order, the release stated.
He has a court appearance scheduled on Sept. 5.
The man also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was turned over to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary.
