 The race is the tune-up event for local runners who plan to do the Tely 10, as it’s half the distance.

The route closures/lane reductions are:

Mundy Pond Road: 7:30-8:05 a.m. St. Teresa’s School to Ropewalk Lane – both directions; 8:05-8:30 a.m. Blackler Avenue to Ropewalk Lane – eastbound lane.

Campbell Avenue: westbound, west of Cashin 7:55-8:30 a.m. (access to residents of Campbell Avenue).

Pearce Avenue: 7:55-8:05 a.m.

Blackmarsh Road: westbound lane Froude Avenue to Blackler Avenue 8- 8:15 a.m.

Blackler Avenue: northbound lane Blackmarsh Road to Mundy Pond Road 8- 8:20 a.m. 

Ropewalk Lane: northbound lane Mundy Pond Road to Empire Avenue 8:10-8:30 a.m.

Empire Avenue: eastbound lane Ropewalk Lane to Kingsbridge/Circular roads 8:10-9 a.m.

Lake Avenue: eastbound lane Kingsbridge Road- Clancey Drive 8:20-9 a.m.

Clancey Drive and Lakeview Avenue: both directions 7-9:30 a.m. (access to Lakeview for residents)

The City of St. John’s says residents may be temporarily detained while race participants are passing. 

A detour will be in place and flagpersons and race marshalls will be present during the race.
