TRANS-CANADA HIGHWAY, NL – The RCMP is reporting a moose-vehicle collision on the Trans-Canada Highway near the Avondale access road.

An advisory was sent out just before 6 p.m.

The accident occurred in the westbound lane. Emergency services responded to the scene.

Motorists are advised to slow down and proceed with caution to avoid any other collisions or injuries.
