Mount Pearl man charged with stunting by RNC

RNC investigators are looking to speak with anyone who might have information about a two-vehicle collision that happened Saturday morning on the Conception Bay highway in Long Pond.

A 29-year-old man was charged with stunting for his driving exploits on Merchant Drive In Mount Pearl.
An RNC officer saw the man operating his vehicle around 1:35 p.m. Tuesday in an erratic manner and managed to stop the vehicle a short time later.
The driver was issued tickets for stunting and his driver’s license was suspended for seven days.
A 42-year-old female was charged with theft following an incident at a grocery store in the east end of St. John’s.
She was charged with theft and also a breach of a court order. The woman was released to appear in court at a later date.
A traffic safety stop in the east end of St. John’s saw a 29-year-old man found to be operating a vehicle with a host of violations, one of which included driving without a valid driver’s license.
In addition, he had no insurance, no registration and had failed to transfer ownership of the vehicle. The RNC issued tickets to him for each of these offences and seized adn impounded his vehicle.
The RNC had 169 calls for service during their most recent 24-hour reporting period.
