Natural Resources Minister Siobhan Coady isn’t answering the question today of whether or not Nalcor Energy is about to see a break off and rebranding of one or more of its lines of business.

Coady was at Confederation Building in St. John’s this morning taking questions on Bill 2 — legislative changes to help empower an independent system operator for the province’s electrical system.
She was asked about a CBC News report of plans to separate Nalcor Oil and Gas from the Crown corporation’s electrical business and the beleaguered Muskrat Falls hydroelectric project.
In response, Coady didn’t confirm or deny the report.
She suggested any direct response would have to wait until tomorrow, provincial budget day.
