The deadline for big game licence draw applications is a little over a week away.
Eligible hunters can return completed applications to the Department of Fisheries and Land Resources or apply online at www.wildlife.gov.nl.ca.
The latest to do so is Thursday, March 29 at 4:30 p.m.
The department is reminding residents applications should be submitted as soon as possible to ensure timely processing.
Office hours have been extended to 8 p.m. for those who have questions regarding their application.

Big game licence applications have been automatically mailed to hunters who are eligible to participate in the provincial 2018 big game licence draw. The online application process is the quickest way to apply and provides immediate confirmation that the application has been received by the department.
Following the application deadline date, the department will notify applicants of the resident big game licence draw results within six weeks.

All hunters and trappers are encouraged to review the guide before taking part in hunting activity this year.
