Nalcor Energy President and Chief Executive Officer Ed Martin.

The relationship between Nalcor and the provincial government has been frosty ever since the provincial government won the November general election.

In her budget speech last week, Finance Minister Cathy Bennett was openly critical of the management at Nalcor for the Muskrat Falls project, and excessive employee compensation.

When asked whether she still had confidence in CEO Ed Martin, Bennett avoided answering directly.
