Two men accused of conspiring to murder an alleged Hells Angels affiliate made separate, quick appearances before a St. John’s judge via video from prison Thursday morning.
Dustin Etheridge, 26, and John Squires, 34, have been in custody since mid-May, when they were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder, various offences released to the possession of a loaded handgun, and breaches of court orders.

Defence lawyers Stephen Orr, who is representing Etheridge, and Robert Hoskins, for Squires, told the court they have yet to receive disclosure in the case. Prosecutor Lloyd Strickland he is still waiting on certain information from police, including wiretap evidence, and asked for a short postponement. The case will be called again July 17.
Etheridge and Squires are believed to have conspired to murder Bradley Summers, who was arrested in 2013 in connection with a police investigation into outlaw motorcycle gangs. He wore a Hells Angels T-shirt when he first appeared in court on the charge.
Etheridge is scheduled for court appearances on other matters this summer, including assault with a weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon, and bribery.
