It’s part of the effort to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation.

“These videos highlight some of the many ways in which Newfoundland and Labrador has contributed to Canada’s national tapestry, and all the while, inviting travellers to explore the many things there are to see and do while on the ground here in the province,” stated a news release from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation.

Several familiar voices from the provincial music scene are featured in the videos, including Anita Best, Kelly Russell, Pamela Morgan and Andrew James O’Brien from Fortunate Ones.

The videos will be available on Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism digital and social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

A sneak peek of the campaign, a video entitled “First Sunrise,” was released today.
