There were no apparent injuries in a moose-vehicle collision on the Outer Ring road Saturday night.
The collision happened in the westbound lane just west of the Portugal Cove Road interchange and caused extensive damage to the front end and windshield of a car. The moose was killed on impact.
Traffic was delayed in the area as police closed the highway so the scene could be cleared.
