Passed out on Pleasant Street; in St. John's court today

St. John’s, N.L. — A man and woman who were apparently passed out at the corner of Springdale and Pleasant streets got a rude awakening shortly before 2:30 this morning.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a report of two persons asleep on the corner of Springdale Street and Pleasant Street in St. John’s.

When police arrived they arrested the 41-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman for breaching court orders. They were both held for court this morning (Saturday).
