Icy roads appear to have been a factor in this vehicle rollover on Craigmillar Avenue Wednesday night just before 9:30 p.m.
The pickup apparently struck a patch of ice near the bottom part of the street, rolled onto its side and struck a utility pole. The male driver was able to get out of the vehicle without assistance.
Several other traffic collisions were reported at about the same time as temperatures dropped in the metro area and roads iced over.
The pickup was moderately damaged.
