St. Johns, N.L. — An early morning traffic stop after a traffic violation on Kenmount Road led police to charge the driver with impaired.

Shortly before 1:30 Saturday morning RNC Patrol Services pulled over a 22-year-old man.
He was charged with impaired driving and his vehicle was impounded.

The driver was released to appear in provincial court at a later date.
