Police investigating home invasion

Police are asking the public’s help in finding two masked men who broke into a home in St. John’s with guns and demanded money from the residents.

It happened on Monday at 11:30 p.m.

RNC patrol services, major crime unit, police dog services and forensic identification services responded to a report of “unknown trouble” at a house on Castle Bride Drive.

One of the residents sustained minor injuries during an altercation with one of the assailants.

The suspects had left the area before police were called.

One of the men was described as being 6-2 in height, slim and in his early 30s.

The second man is about 5-8 with a slim build and a pale complexion with red hair and facial hair.

Both were said to have been wearing blue jeans, dark coats and hoods and/or masks.
