Lecuyer is currently in custody, where he has been since last May, in relation to his alleged role in a home invasion in Corner Brook in January 2014 and a series of subsequent court order breaches.
He was denied bail after a hearing last October. He has entered not guilty pleas to charges of forcible confinement, armed robbery, being disguised with intent and breaking and entering and a four-day trial has been set to start June 21.
Lecuyer was back in the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador in Corner Brook for a pre-trial application, but the matter had to be postponed because presiding Justice David Hurley was ill.
The application, which is not expected to take a full day, will now be heard Monday morning.
Lecuyer and co-accused Kirby Spence, who has a trial set for September, were charged after a Corner Brook man reported having his home invaded by two masked men carrying machetes and bear spray. Police have said the perpetrators bound the man's hands and feet with plastic cable ties and allegedly left with $300 in cash, a black canvas bag and various electronics.
