St. John’s, N.L. — RNC general investigation unit is asking the public’s assistance identifying the man responsible for an armed robbery a service station.

On Saturday, Jan. 27, just before 1:30 a.m., officers with RNC’s operational patrol services division, including police dog services and forensic identification services, responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Ultramar at 15 Waldegrave Street in downtown St. John's.

An unknown male entered the business armed with a weapon and demanded cash.

The suspect got an undisclosed amount of cash before taking off. He was gone when police arrived.

The man is described as being between 28 and 33 years old, skinny build, about 180 pounds and around five-foot-four to five-foot-six.
