St. John's driver caught with $15,000 in fines, suspended licence

A St. John's man who police say had accumulated more than $15,000 in traffic fines had his vehicle seized Thursday.

RNC patrol services conducted the traffic safety stop on Bruce Street, Mount Pearl around 4:30 p.m.

The 39 -year old man was charged with operating the motor vehicle while suspended and without valid insurance.

The accused was released, to appear at traffic court June 13.
