Officers charged a 40-year-old man with being unlawfully in a dwelling and breach of court order.
He was released and will make a court appearance at a later date.
St. John's homeowner catches man in house
At 8 p.m. Tuesday, RNC patrol services were called to a Portugal Cove Road home in St. John's by the homeowner who said there was an unknown man inside his house.
