Residents of St. John’s who would like to voice their concerns or know more about the city’s plans to replace the H.G.R Mews Community Centre will get their chance next week.

Public consultations will take place from Monday, May 28, to Friday, June 1 at the H.G.R. Mews Community Centre on Mundy Pond Road during regular hours of operation.

Opinions and input can also be provided online at engagestjohns.ca.

According to a city news release issued Wednesday, the new facility will be a similar size and scope as the existing centre. The timeline for construction will be available after the public consultation and design is complete.

“We want to hear from residents to ensure that public concerns are heard within the scope of the project,” the release states.
