SUMMERFORD, N.L.

NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR

CANADA

Dwight Ings of Summerford was apparently not pleased to be pulled over by the RCMP on Sept. 16.

According to an RCMP release, the officer who stopped Ings, 28, attempted to serve him with multiple summary offence tickets. The man refused to take the tickets, however, and sped away. The incident happened in Summerford.

Ings was later arrested for obstruction under the Criminal Code and was issued summary offence tickets under the Highway Traffic Act for imprudent driving, operating a vehicle with tinted windows and two tickets for crossing a solid line.

He was released from police custody and will appear in court at a later date.
