Suspects flee home invasion in St. John's

Police say a west-end St. John's home was specifically targeted Thursday afternoon in a home invasion.

It happened around 2 p.m.

RNC patrol officers along with K9 and the forensic identification section.

responded to the report of a forcible entry, but the suspects drove away prior to the police arriving.

There were no injuries reported to police by the occupants.

The major crime unit of the RNC is continuing the investigation.
