Paradise, N.L. —Two men had their vehicles seized by police Thursday for driving while their licences were suspended and operating without insurance. The RNC pulled over the first man in the Paradise area shortly after 1:30 p.m. when the officers noted the person, who was known to them, had no licence.

The 21-year-old was issued traffic tickets for operating while under suspension and operating without insurance.

He was released for court at a later date but the vehicle was impounded.

Later in the afternoon, about 3:45, a traffic safety stop on Topsail Road at Paradise Road netted a 31-year-old man driving while under provincial suspension and operating without a valid insurance. He was issued summary offence tickets and released, but his vehicle was seized.
