Three couples from St. John's win Health Care Foundation Home Lottery

Robert Murphy and his wife, Ruby, were the grand prizewinners of the $1.1-million home and $15,000 to assist the winners in moving into their new home.The couple received the key to their new home from Paul Snow, president and CEO of the Health Care Foundation Thursday.

The three major prizewinners from this year’s Health Care Foundation Home Lottery were presented with their prizes at the site of the grand prize home in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s.

Other major prizewinners included Roy Naugler and his wife, Jane Morgan, who were the early bird prizewinners of $70,000 or a new Jaguar — they chose the $70,000. John Marshall and his wife, Diane MacIntosh, were the 50/50 prizewinners, taking home a cheque for $247,035. All three winners are from St. John’s.
