St. John’s, N.L.— Police were called to a disturbance at a home in St. John’s centre Friday suppertime. At the scene a 33-year-old man was arrested and charged with uttering threats and breach of court orders. He was held for court Saturday morning.
Around 1 o’clock Saturday morning the RNC responded to a call of a man failing to pay for a taxi. A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged for assault on the driver and failing to pay the taxi fare. He was held for court this morning
Another disturbance in downtown St. John’s around 2 a.m. resulted in a 22-year-old man being arrested. He is charged with robbery and breaching a court order. He was held for court Saturday morning.
