Three Newfoundland women making their way across Europe as part of international Red Bull Can You Make It competition

Armed with just backpacks and cans of Red Bull, three women from this province are in the midst of making their way across Europe as a part of the international Red Bull Can You Make It competition. The trio — featuring Laura Fillier (right) of Corner Brook along with Hare Bay's Myranda Bursey (left) and Mount Pearl's Cassidy Welsh — are attempting to make their way to Amsterdam in the Netherlands with only Red Bull to trade for lodging, transportation and meals. Known as the Biohazards and representing Memorial University, the group started in Stockholm, Sweden on April 10 and have until April 17 to reach their final destination. Here, the group display their Newfoundland roots near Gothenburg, Sweden with some colourful sou'wester hats.
