That’s providing you’ve got a couple extra dollars lying around you don’t mind parting with – well, roughly $145,000 (86,500 British pounds to be exact).

Beginning in May 2018, London-based Blue Marble Private will run eight-day trips for nine people at a time to the site where the doomed ship sank.

Those who sign on will fly via helicopter from Newfoundland to a support yacht offshore.

After a couple days aboard the yacht, they will climb into a specially designed titanium and carbon fibre submersible developed by OceanGate Inc. for the 4,000-metre, five-hour trip to the Titanic’s final resting place.

Guided by a crew of experts, they will view the deck and grand staircase of the decaying vessel.

The Titanic collided with an iceberg on April 14, 1912, four days into its maiden voyage from England to New York City, and sank in two hours.

“Far fewer people have visited the wreck of the Titanic than the number who have been to space or summited Mt. Everest,” the company notes on its website.
