Trio of crashes Sunday in St. John's and Paradise leaves six cars damaged

A trio of collisions Sunday left six vehicles damaged but there were no serious injuries in either incident.

A collision between two cars full of young men and women left the two vehicles with moderate damage.

A two-car incident on Allandale Road at the supper hour saw two vehicles collide head-on when one driver apparently drove into oncoming traffic at an intersection. The St. John’s Regional fire department was called to deal with a fluid spill until police arrived and took over the investigation. A rear-end crash on Kenmount Road at Brougham Drive slowed traffic into Paradise at about 8 p.m. Two women were checked on scene by Eastern Health paramedics. And a third incident at about 11 p.m. consisted of a collision between two cars full of young men and women at the intersection of Prescott and Gower Streets. All six cars in the three collisions suffered moderate damage.
