Twillingate RCMP nab driver with $19,000 in fines
A 36-year-old Virgin Arm man keeps building on his outstanding fine total. Twillingate RCMP stopped and charged the driver today, who was found to be owing $19,000 in fines. The total will likely rise as he is now facing a number of additional charges under the Highway Traffic Act including driving without a license, operating an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle without valid insurance. He was released and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
