Two arrested in St. John’s Thursday on outstanding warrants

St. John’s, N.L. — Two people were arrested on outstanding warrants in separate incidents Thursday.

Around 10:15 a.m. the RNC located a 27-year-old woman in the west end of St. John’s who had a warrant issued for her arrest. She was arrested and brought to provincial court.

Later in the day, around 7 p.m., the RNC located a 24-year-old man in the centre-city area who had an outstanding arrest warrant. He was picked up and subsequently charged with failing to appear in court. He was brought to the lockup and held for court Friday morning
