The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of Newfoundland and Labrador (CFSEU-NL) arrested two men suspected of conspiring to commit murder in St. John’s Wednesday evening. Assistance was provided by the RNC Tactics and Rescue Unit, Operational Patrol Services, CID, the RCMP Federal Serious and Organized Crime Unit and Major Crime Unit.
The two men, in their late 20s, were arrested without incident or injury in a central area of the city. They will both appear in provincial court in St. John’s this morning.
The investigation is continuing and no additional information will be provided at this time the CFSEU-NL said.
