Two sections T’Railway Provincial Park reopened in central Newfoundland

Repairs of two sections of the T’Railway Provincial Park – one from Notre Dame Junction to Glenwood and another from Glenwood to Gander – have been completed and passed inspections.

The sections, which were among those damaged during a major rainstorm last October, are now reopened, according to a public advisory from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation Friday morning.

The advisory also noted Dog Brook washout, located between Badger and Grand Falls-Windsor, remains closed as new site plans are being developed.

As well, users of the sections from Gander to Clarenville and from Clarenville to Little Harbour East may encounter closed work sites while final repairs are being completed.
